Did Cody Rhodes Tease His Long Overdue Heel Turn After Wednesday's AEW DYNAMITE Went Off The Air?

It's clear to wrestling fans that the time is now for Cody Rhodes to turn heel, but did he tease exactly that after Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite went off the air? Check out the video right here...

Wednesday night's episode of AEW Dynamite was headlined by Cody Rhodes, PAC, and the Lucha Brothers teaming up against Malakai Black, Andrade El Idolo, and FTR. Rhodes was booed heavily throughout the match and even had his weight belt thrown back to him by a fan at one point.

Fans quite clearly want him to turn heel, something he recently made clear won't happen. While it definitely feels like AEW could be playing the long game here (getting fans as hot as possible by making them wait for it), there's a possibility that Rhodes simply doesn't want to break bad right now.

Either way, after AEW Dynamite went off the air on Wednesday night, Rhodes teased the Chicago fans by starting to walk towards the heel tunnel before making his way to the back through the babyface side. This might have been him having fun with those in attendance or something bigger; we'll see.

Tony Khan has previously compared the reaction Rhodes receives to John Cena, and he certainly never turned heel in WWE, so perhaps Cody won't either?

For now, check out the video of what happened below:
