Jeff Hardy Debuted On Last Night's AEW DYNAMITE; Matt Hardy Teases Their Future In The Company

After being released by WWE last year, Jeff Hardy's non-compete ended earlier this week and he wasted no time in debuting on AEW Dynamite! Read on for details on that and for comments from his brother, Matt...

During last night's episode of AEW Dynamite, Matt Hardy found himself voted out of his AHFO faction and received a beating from its members. Sting and Darby Allin hit the ring to lend a helping hand, but the numbers game proved too much and the babyfaces were left defenceless...until Jeff Hardy made his "All Elite" debut!

Running out to the ring to his old "Loaded" theme music, Hardy cleared the ring and hit a patented Swanton Bomb. Now, the stage has been set for The Hardy Boyz to reunite in AEW for what could prove to be an epic run, something WWE attempted to stop by offering Jeff a Hall of Fame induction after mistakenly releasing him.

Talking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast (via WrestlingNews.co), Matt said Jeff's debut "means that it’s time for us to cement our legacy as the greatest tag team in all of space and time. And there’s one last major title we need to win and that is the AEW World Tag Team Titles."

"[Jeff's] hyped. It means a lot. It means a lot to both of us to go out as we came in, and especially on a big platform and also show why we are one of the greatest tag teams ever," Matt continued. "I think you are going to see a very mature, experienced, and a Hardy Boyz team that is very hungry to prove they can still go in 2022."

We can't wait to see what comes next, especially with so many potential dream matches now possible. The weeks ahead should be very exciting, but check out some highlights from last night below:

Be honest Josh, if this were WWE, you would drag them hard about Jeff stopping to dance before saving his brother. But as it's All Excuses Wrestling, it doesn't even get a mention.
