Matt Hardy will not die, but Sammy Guevara tried his damnedest this past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.

Sammy attacked Hardy in the ring while he was cutting a promo, and after a brief back-and-forth scuffle, the Spanish God flung a chair at Hardy's head and busted him wide open above the eyebrow. We actually thought the injury occurred from Matt's first bump against the ring post, but either way, the former Broken Warrior required 13 stitches to close the wound once he was attended to backstage.

Though clearly an accident, Guevara was reportedly given a stern talking to behind-the-scenes for being so reckless. The Inner Circle member is only back on TV after being suspended for an off color joke he made about Sasha Banks during a podcast interview a few years ago, but this is unlikely to land him in any real trouble.
