AEW Dynamite airs on TBS tonight and AEW President Tony Khan has taken to Twitter to promise some sort of surprise for the show. He usually delivers when dropping hints like this, and speculation is already running rampant on who might show up. However, WrestlingNews.co suggests that we could see the long-awaited return of Jon Moxley!

He's been absent from AEW television since last October after rendering an inpatient alcohol program in November. While this return is a little sooner than we anticipated, the site points out that "during GCW’s 'Die 4 This' pay-per-view on January 1, Homicide won the Do or Die Rumble match and it was announced that he would challenge Moxley for the GCW Title at the Hammerstein Ballroom on January 23."

AEW is likely to want Moxley to make his in-ring return for them before the show takes place and Khan's updates on his status in interviews has been generally positive.

Here are the confirmed matches for tonight's AEW Dynamite:

CM Punk vs. Wardlow
Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb
Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Dante Martin
TNT Championship Match
Sammy Guevara vs. Daniel Garcia

We certainly hope Moxley is coming back, but make sure to keep checking back here for updates!
