This is the final stop before Double or Nothing.
In this special edition of Collision, Mercedes Mone is scheduled to defend her TBS Championship against Reyna Isis. The CMLL export is an accomplished wrestler who has been in the business for over a decade. In addition to CMLL and AEW, Isis has competed in Major League Wrestling, Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling, and Xtrem Mexican Wrestling. Reyna has held the Mexican National Women’s Championship only two separate occasions, with both reigns lasting over 400 days.
Mercedes is wrestling a professional who has the strong possibility of talking her prestigious title. Will Mone get a statement win heading into her Double or Nothing match against Jamie Hayter?
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are heading into a personal match against Daniel Garcia and Nigel McGuinness at Double or Nothing. The former AEW World Tag Team Champions aren’t looking to end this one quickly, as Dax and Cash want to send a clear and strong message to the rest of the division. The two teams will have one final confrontation tonight in a contract signing; these segments typically end in chaos, will that happen here?
Also, The Grizzled Young Veteran return to AEW television as the former NXT UK Tag Team Champions will fight The Paragon’s Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly. Strong and O’Reilly are looking to bounce back after their loss to FTR several weeks ago, though that won’t be an easy feat since Zack Gibson and James Drake are pros when it comes to tag team wrestling. Who will come out on top tonight?
