Unfortunately for the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Jay White, his downward spiral in the G1 Climax tournament continues. What’s worse is that White has lost to the very men he betrayed last year to join the Bullet Club, as his first two defeats came at the hands of Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii, and now, Toru Yano.

The CHAOS member pulled off a huge surprise in the opening night of the B-Block, as Yano defeated Tetsuya Naito. The former IWGP Tag Team Champion wasn’t lucky with Shingo Takagi; however, Yano's in-ring antics got the best of Jay White as well.

The match-up wasn’t very long as it went under five minutes and Yano was able to pin the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion with a roll-up after a low blow and using brass knuckles. White and Gedo vented their frustration teasing a change for White in future tournament match-ups. Toru Yano’s record in the G1 Climax is now 2-1, whereas Jay White’s score is currently 0-3.
