The Royal Rumble PPV takes place this Sunday, and you'd best believe there are a lot of rumours and spoilers currently doing the rounds. By far the biggest, however, is the fact Ronda Rousey is reportedly set to make her WWE return during the women's Rumble match; if that happens, then chances are she'll win and face RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch at WrestleMania

Former WWE Superstar Aksana has also been spotted in St. Louis (making this her first appearance for the company since her release eight years ago), as has Melina.

Despite her contract reportedly ending next month, Kairi Sane is another rumoured possibility for the match, while former Women's Champion Asuka is also expected to make a surprise return on Sunday. Needless to say, the Women's Rumble is shaping up to be stacked, but what about the Men's match?

Well, Kurt Angle is said to be in the city as WWE and the Olympic Gold Medallist have had talks about him returning for an on-screen role. After his disappointing retirement following a loss to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania, a Royal Rumble appearance would be welcomed, but we'll see. The Undertaker is also in town, though we'd bank on him being there just to visit friends rather than compete. Shane McMahon has been rumoured to make his WWE return at the PPV, however.

Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura is now cleared to wrestle, but we're not expecting anything big from him, unfortunately. Finally, Johnny Knoxville is unlikely to be the only celebrity who appears as Bad Bunny - a standout at WrestleMania last year - is also scheduled to appear.

Stay tuned for the latest as we have it!

If Ronda Rousy returns and wins the Rumble it will be a mistake. Forcing a fight between Ronda and Becky at Mania would be missing the whole point of why fans wanted Ronda vs Becky in the first place.

When Ronda was champion, she literally beat every other woman on the roster 1 on 1, except Becky. Everyone wanted to see Becky win and take her title. That never came to be though.

So having them fight now would be a slap in the face because now it would be Ronda winning over Becky. If they were smart, they would have Ronda return, not win the Rumble. Have whoever does win the Rumble beat Becky at Mania. Then have Ronda beat that person to become the champion. Then build to Becky vs Ronda, with Becky taking the title from her.

But they won't do that. Vince is all about the cheap shocks, right this second. He doesn't have that kind of patience to build toward what fans would actually want. If Becky returning and winning the belt the same night didn't sit well with fans, then Ronda coming back and instantly being in the title picture shouldn't either.
