Veteran Tyler Bateman will be calling Ring of Honor home going forward.
According to
Southern California wrestling news, the 38-year-old has signed a exclusive deal with the promotion, though the exact details of his contract are not confirmed.
Bateman actually made his debut for ROH during the Death Before Dishonor Fallout tapings on Sept. 28, with the Oklahoma native defeating Jake Atlas – another ROH newcomer – in singles competition. Bateman would attack Lifeblood member Tracy Williams later on during the show and left him lying when all was said and done.
Bateman has been wrestling for 18 years on the independent scene and competed in promotions such as Bar Wrestling, GCW, Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, and DEFY. As of this writing, ROH has yet to publicly confirm the signing of Bateman.
