Cody Rhodes And The Young Bucks Are Hoping To Draw 10,000 Wrestling Fans To An Indie Show In 2018

Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks have a very ambitious plan to draw 10,000 wrestling fans to a non-WWE PPV in 2018 and there's a chance it could involve the former American Dragon, Daniel Bryan!

Earlier this year, Dave Meltzer was asked on Twitter if a non-WWE show could ever draw 10,000 fans in the US and he was quick to say no (which is understandable considering the fact that no one has done that since WCW a good seventeen or eighteen years ago). Well, Cody Rhodes took that as a personal challenge and now he and The Young Bucks are eyeing up a number of locations.

The event is currently being referred to as "All In" and both Rhodes and The Young Bucks are self-funding it (though the Ring of Honor promotion is expected to be involved in some capacity).

Chicago, London, and San Francisco are all possibilities as of right now and it's thought that an announcement could be coming soon as the event will take place in 2018 if it happens. It's certainly an ambitious plan for an independent wrestling promotion, especially as TNA never drew more than 7000 fans and ECW only got as far as 6000. So, what match could headline an event like this?

Well, Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan is one possibility, as is Rhodes vs. Kenny Omega. Even if 10,000 doesn't happen, Meltzer believes that they'll make a killing on merchandise alone. We'll have to wait and see if it happens but it would be pretty damn awesome to see become a reality! What do you guys think?
