Last year, Gail Kim announced her retirement from in-ring competition and she finally wrestled the last match of her career on Saturday in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England. That went down in the main event of Southside Wrestling's Raw Deal show where she beat Kasey Owens via pinfall.
After the bout, Kim received "Thank You Gail!" chants from fans before she headed to the backstage area. Her career has been a storied one as she won the WWE Women's Championship in her first televised match for the company and nabbed the Knockouts Championship a record seven times in TNA before ultimately being inducted into the company's Hall of Fame a few years later.
Kim returned to WWE in 2009 and despite sticking around until 2011, she wasn't happy with the way she and other female talent were being used so she went back to TNA that same year before wrestling her final Impact Wrestling match last October. Many fans have hoped she would come back to WWE but it's clear now that's not happening so it's good she went out on a high!
