Recent Bellator signee Jake Hager (formerly known in WWE as Jack Swagger) has agreed to appear in Lucha Underground’s fourth season and has already wrestled several matches.

Hager was released from the WWE back in 2017. The former world champion was frustrated with his lack of direction in the company and simply wanted out.  Later that year, Hager signed with Bellator MMA, and its expected that he will be fighting for the promotion sometime in 2018.An opponent and date has yet to be given, but he’s currently signed for six fights.

There’s no word just yet as to what Swagger’s role in Lucha Underground is due to how tight lipped the company tries to keep its tapings.
