Will we see the death of Jon Moxley at Wrestle Kingdom 14?

We’re less than two days away from Wrestle Kingdom 14 and the show should be another great event for New Japan Pro Wrestling. One of the bouts on the card is a Texas Death Match between Lance Archer and Jon Moxley, and while both men have promised violence and mayhem, the reigning IWGP US Champion promises that Jon Moxley will die in his latest promo (Transcript courtesy of Wrestlezone.com):

“Let me tell you a story about a lunatic who thought he could try to be strong style. He left his safe little cage, he left his friends, he left the protection of a shield, but that shield of protection is gone,” states Archer. “Jon Moxley, you will die, because everybody dies.”

Will Jon Moxley really die on January 4th? We’ll find out in the Texas Death Match for the IWGP United States Championship. The rules of the contest are simple, there are no disqualifications, no countouts, and no pinfalls. The only way to win the match is via 10-count knockout or submission.

The winner of the match on January 4th will go on to defend the belt against Juice Robinson the next night. Check out the full promo below:
