Marty Scurll vs. Nick Aldis II confirmed?

On Saturday, Nick Aldis successfully defended the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against James Storm in a two-out-of-three falls match, though the title match did end in controversial fashion. Despite the questionable ending, Aldis – who’s held the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship since October 2018 – was very confident that no one in the NWA locker room could ever beat him until the show went dark.

Once the lights turned back on, Scurll was face-to-face with the 33-year-old. Aldis left, though it was clear that it wouldn’t be the last time that those two would be in the ring together. "The Villain" actually fought Aldis for the belt back at the Crockett Cup; however, Scurll would lose via submission in a nearly 30-minute match.

While Scurll’s contract is reportedly expired in ROH, the United Kingdom native still remains the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champion and is now going in a program with Nick Aldis. At the moment, it doesn’t appear we’ll see Scurll join his friends in AEW anytime soon.
