Trick Williams will be making his in-ring debut for Reality of Wrestling soon.
It’s just been confirmed that the TNA World Champion will make his debut for Reality Wrestling on September 13th at Walker Texas Lawyer Arena in Texas City, Texas. Trick made an appearance for the promotion previously in 2023, but he never wrestled for them.
WWE has been expanding out into the indie scene for the past couple of years. Notably, various talents have been competing in Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport. Natalya has also expanded out to compete in the NWA at the 2025 Crockett Cup. Before Trick made the jump over to WWE, Trick worked at a few indie places such as Combat Zone Wrestling and KnokX Prom Wrestling Academy.
His mainstay was WWE, so he doesn’t have much indie experience beyond those two companies. But Trick Williams has been pretty busy in 2025 as he’s currently in the middle of his TNA World title run. He’s juggling both NXT and TNA, and that’s actually been a blessing for the NXT star since he’s been able to show more personality and get more reps in as a wrestler.
It’s hard to top his star-making moment of beating Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship last year, but his run as TNA World Champion has made him a consistently entertaining act that established he was a dynamic performer who’s ready for the main roster. At this time, there’s no confirmed opponent for Trick at the upcoming Reality Wrestling show in Texas, but the sell is the current NXT star himself. Reality of Wrestling is owned by the one and only, Booker T.
The promotion has hosted plenty of WWE and AEW stars (pre-WWE, of course) in the past including Rok-C (Roxanne Perez), Kylie Rae (Who is currently down at the new promotion Evolve), and Bryan Keith. Stay tuned for Trick’s official match announcement! In the meantime, the TNA World Champion is coming off his loss against Je’Von Evans on NXT last week due to Mike Santana. Trick Williams will appear on the upcoming episode Tuesday and address his shocking loss to the fellow NXT star.
