MLW World Middleweight Champion Myron Reed will remain with the promotion for the foreseeable future.
The company confirms that the 22-year-old has inked a long-term deal with MLW, though the exact details of the contract are unknown. Court Bauer briefly discussed having Myron apart of the Major League Wrestling roster (transcript courtesy of
MLW.com):
“Myron has emerged as an extraordinary athlete and important voice in the sport,” said Court Bauer, MLW CEO and founder.
“We look forward to seeing the champ showcased in MLW as he enters his prime.”
Reed joined the promotion back in 2018 and has quickly emerged as one of the top stars of the MLW. The young star is a member of the Injustice faction with Jordan Oliver and Kotto Brazil, and the Louisville native became the top dog of the middleweight division when he defeated Teddy Hart during the Blood & Thunder tapings on November 9.
Prior to his stint with MLW, Reed has wrestled in Ring of Honor, Combat Zone Wrestling, NWA, and All American Wrestling.
