Joey Janela’s two-night Spring Break event will make its return on April 5th and the first match has been made official for the show. Game Changer Wrestling announced that Masashi Takeda will take on Jimmy Lloyd in a Deathmatch. The match is being billed as the first-ever Spring Break Deathmatch.

Known for his time in Big Japan Pro Wrestling, Takeda specializes in the stipulation bout thanks to his time as the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight champion, where each of his matches were under deathmatch rules. Jimmy Lloyd is no stranger to the deathmatch himself as the CZW star has had brutal wars under the stipulation bout.

Joey Janela's Spring Break 3 is set to be a two-night event, with the second night featuring the annual Cluster[frick] Battle Royal. Lloyd vs. Takeda is the first bout officially announced for night one. Also scheduled to appear are Australian Suicide, Slim J, and Atsushi Onita. Both shows have already sold out but will be available to watch on Fite.TV.

Janela is still recovering from blowing out his knee in a match against Psicosis this past September. It is unknown if he will wrestle at the event.
