Leila Grey gets the biggest opportunity of her career.
The last time Grey had a title match on AEW/ROH television was against Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship in 2022. That match was essentially a squash for Cargill. Three years later, Grey has greatly improved in the squared circle and is currently undefeated in 2025.
The ROH Women’s World TV Champion has been in action every week since her shocking heel turn at Final Battle. Though some of Red Velvet’s tactics have been questionable, the champion has won the last seven matches in her career. Can Red Velvet continue with her momentum by getting a win over Leila Grey? Or will Grey level up and become the next ROH Women’s World TV Champion?
Komander is coming off a successful title defense against Q.T. Marshall. However, a champion’s work is never done until he/she drops the belt. Komander may not be defending his title tonight, but he has a Proving Ground match against Lee Johnson.
Johnson has had a solid 2024 as his win/loss record holds more w’s than l’s, but the 27-year-old has failed to win every title opportunity that he was given last year. With this being a new year, can the ROH star finally break out of his shell by beating the ROV Television Champion?
Also, Sammy Guevara returns to action since his ROH World Tag Team title match at Wrestle Dynasty. The former TNT Champion was dealing with some nagging injuries that forced him to sit on the sidelines, but Guevara is walking in refreshed and ready to go. But this is a giant opportunity for Aaron Solo. Though no titles are on the line, Sammy Guevara is a big name in ROH/AEW, which can help skyrocket Solo up the card if he can beat the 31-year-old. Can Aaron Solo pull off a massive upset over the AEW veteran?
