Viktor Nemkov is now a member of the Bellator roster.
As first reported by Tass (which was confirmed by Bellator officials), the light heavyweight has signed a deal with the promotion, though the exact details of his contract remain disclosed. Nemkov is the older brother of new Bellator Light Heavyweight World Champion Vadim Nemkov.
While Viktor’s last fight resulted in a draw, the 33-year-old is currently on a three-fight winning streak thanks to his wins over Sergio Souza (via submission at Club Alexander - The Don Battle), Rakim Cleveland (via unanimous decision at PFL 3), and Rashid Yusupov (via unanimous decision at PFL 6). Nemkov has been fighting professionally since 2008 and competed in Pro Fighters League, M-1 Global, and League S-70. Nemkov is a former two-time M-1 Light Heavyweight Champion.
Nemkov joins a division filled with top light heavyweights such as Phil Davis, Corey Anderson, Rafael Carvalho, and of course, Vadim Nemkov. Coming in, Viktor has a record of 28 wins, 7 losses, and 1 no contest. There’s no word on when the new Bellator MMA fighter will make his debut.
