Antonio Rogerio Nogueira is no longer able to compete at UFC Sao Paulo due to a back injury, according to MMA Junkie. His opponent, Trevor Smith, is off the fight night card; however, the light heavyweight will be fighting at UFC Fight Night Washington DC against Alonzo Menifield.

Smith is looking to gain some momentum after losing his last two fights against Elias Theodorou and Zak Cummings. Smith will be making his UFC Light Heavyweight division debut here, as he’s usually competed under the middleweight banner. Smith’s professional mixed martial arts record stands at 15 wins and 9 losses.

Menifield is coming into the bout with a nice two-fight winning streak under the UFC banner, as the light heavyweight picked up wins over Vinicius Moreira and Paul Craig. Thus far in his professional career, Menifield remains undefeated, as he holds an MMA record of 9 wins and no losses.

UFC Fight Night Washington DC takes place on Saturday, December 7 from the Capitol One Arena in Washington DC with Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris headlining.
