Brendan Allen Suffered Several Injuries During His Fight Against Kyle Daukaus Last Weekend

Brendan Allen could be out of action for a while.

The UFC middleweight successfully fended off Kyle Daukaus at UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker last Saturday night; however, the 24-year-old didn’t leave the fight injury free as Allen’s manager, Brian Butler, confirmed that the UFC star suffered three fractures in his orbital floor and nose after the back-and-forth contest:

Butler states that Allen could be out for the remainder of the year. Should that be the case, then it would slow down Allen’s momentum as the middleweight is currently riding a nice seven-fight winning streak. In addition to Daukaus, Allen has also beaten Tom Breese (via TKO at UFC Fight Night 169) and Kevin Holland (via submission at UFC on ESPN 6) in his UFC tenure thus far. His professional record currently stands at 15 wins and 3 losses.

There’s no word on what kind of injuries Daukaus suffered during his battle against Allen. If the middleweight has suffered any injuries, then he’ll receive a medical suspension from the promotion. The news on medical suspensions from UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker has yet to be released.
