CM Punk No Longer Has Two Losses On His UFC Record After Mike Jackson's Win Was Overturned - Here's Why

CM Punk had two fights in UFC and lost both of them. However, he now has only one loss on his record after Mike Jackson's victory was overturned by the MMA promotion! Find more details on that right here...

Believe it or not, it's been over three years since Phil "CM Punk" Brooks stepped foot inside a UFC cage. His MMA career didn't last long after two decisive losses in the octagon, though the former WWE Superstar has kept a foot in that world as a commentator for UFC Fight Pass show Cage Fury Fighting Championships

Punk previously had two losses on his record, but it's now one

According to MMA Junkie, Mike Jackson's win at UFC 225 has been overturned and ruled a "No Contest." The change comes as a result of Jackson testing positive for marijuana on fight night, and while it's unclear why this was never made public, he did reportedly receive a three-month suspension.

UFC 225 took place in Chicago, and Illinois has a strict marijuana policy that Jackson clearly failed to adhere to. This obviously isn't going to make a difference to Punk's MMA future, but he put up a much better fight in this second bout than the first one (where he was made short work of by Mickey Gall).

Punk hasn't commented on the news, but Jackson did leave a comment on MMA Junkie's Instagram page saying, "It’s funny how you losers think your opinions matter."

He's not competed since this show took place in 2018.
