Gerald Harris is officially hanging up the gloves following his win over Seth Baczynski.
This past Saturday night, the former UFC and Bellator fighter competed at a C3 Fight event against another former UFC veteran, Seth Baczynski. The 40-year-old actually retired earlier this year at Bellator 218; however, Harris decided to make one last return to the octagon.
Following the Oklahoma native’s win, Harris grabbed the mic and made it clear that he wouldn’t be returning to the octagon once again:
Harris had a short stint with the UFC back in 2009/2010, with the veteran being very successful early in his UFC career by getting three strong wins before losing to Maiquel Falcão. After a couple fights in several other promotions, Harris would retire in 2013.
He made his return back in 2017, and eventually signed with Bellator in 2018, though the heavyweight failed to get any wins within the promotion. Harris exits MMA (at least for now) with a record of 25 wins, 8 losses, and 1 no contest.
