Mike Perry has finally released a statement regarding his bar fight last month.

To recap, the welterweight got into an altercation with a senior citizen at the Table 82 restaurant in Lubbock, TX. While the video that surfaced showcased Perry only hitting one patron at the bar, it was reported that the 28-year-old actually dropped three people that night.

Days later, UFC released a statement apologizing on the behalf of Perry and promised that he will not be offered a bout until the completion of his treatment program. Other than his “no comment” statement, Perry has remained silent over the situation, though he’s been active on social media.

On Saturday night, Perry released a statement apologizing over the recent incident and promises to “be better all around”:

There’s no word on whether Perry is actually receiving retirement for his alcohol abuse. Despite the incident last month, no arrests were made. Mounir Lazzez and Darren Till both called out the UFC fighter following the bar incident, though Perry has yet to respond to either man.
