Steve Maclin has a tall task in front of him.
Since winning the TNA International Title at Unbreakable, Maclin has successfully defended his belt four times. One of those matches was a bloody war against Eric Young. Another was against Mance Warner, who gets the opportunity to challenge for the belt once again. Jake Something is also stepping up to fight Maclin in what should be one hell of a dog fight involving these three competitors. Who will be the last man standing?
Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander will make his in-ring debut as he’ll team with The Hand’s Jason Hotch and John Skyler to take on Mustafa Ali and his minions. Cedric and Ali already have a date at Slammiversary, can the new TNA star get one over on Ali before their one-on-one encounter?
Also, NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley stop by to hopefully give Masha Slamovich and Lei Ying Lee a beating that they’ll never forget. If Jayne can get through Jordynne Grace at The Great American Bash then her next goal is to win the Knockouts Championship, but that will be easier said than done as Slamovich has held that belt for an impressive 257 days so far. Can Jayne soften her potential opponent before Slammiversary? Or will Slamovich prove why she’s dominated the Knockouts division since October 2024?
