Paul Heyman Believes That Brock Lesnar's Time Away From The Octagon May Benefit Him If He Returns To The UFC
With rumors swirling about a possible return to the UFC for Brock Lesnar, The Beast's WWE advocate has commented on the likelihood, explaining why he feels that Lesnar's time away may actually be beneficial...
We still don't know for certain if Brock Lesnar will ever return to The UFC, but there are persistent rumors that the current WWE Universal Champion is looking for an opportunity to do just that.
Lesnar's "advocate" Paul Heyman was quizzed about the situation by TMZ, and while the infamously verbose former ECW owner didn't conform or deny the rumors, he did seem to suggest that it was a possibility - while putting his client over, or course!
I think Brock Lesnar does whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do. If Brock Lesnar wants to fight in UFC then Brock Lesnar will fight in UFC. If Brock Lesnar wants to fight in WWE then he will fight in WWE. Ask Braun Strowman. Ask Randy Orton. Ask THE UNDERTAKER. Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do.
The time away actually makes him better because his body get a chance to heal. The problem with all these UFC fighters is, and they are all fantastic athletes, top of the world, they all wear their bodies down in these training camps. All these guys that are cutting weight are destroying their bodies. Brock Lesnar is probably the healthiest fighter to enter UFC if he decides to do that. He’s always ready. Always."
Brock had to deal with some steroid controversy after his last fight against Mark Hunt, but a draw is a draw, and if there's money to be made then there's very little that Dana White and co. can't sweep under the rug.
