The injury bug continues as former Invicta FC strawweight champion Livinha Souza will no longer return to the octagon in Austin, Texas against Jessica Aguilar. Souza was forced out of the bout due to a hand injury. MMA Brasil first reported the news.

Souza’s team told MMA Fighting on Saturday that Souza hasn’t fractured her hand, but the exact details of the injury will be known after they run more tests next week. Aguilar's (19-6) first two UFC bouts to Claudia Gadelha and Cortney Casey resulted in a loss. Aguilar won ten bouts in a row before joining the UFC last year. It’s unclear if her opponent “Jag” will get a new challenger for UFC Austin on Feb. 18.

UFC Austin will take place at the Frank Erwin Center arena and feature a welterweight showdown between Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros in the main event.
