Clark Connors is the Lion’s Break Crown Tournament winner!

Since joining the Japanese promotion in 2018, the 27-year-old has been a star on the rise for the company. 2019 was a huge year for Connors as the young prospect had standout performances against talents such as former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJP, Karl Fredericks, and Marty Scurll.

This was Connors first tournament win in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. While the NJPW newcomer had strong moments during the Young Lions Cup and the Super Junior Tag League tournaments, Connors came up short in the end.

The match-up wasn't a walk in the park for Connors as Danny Limelight gave up one hell of an effort before taking the submission loss via a Boston Crab. That wasn’t the only results that took place on the latest NJPW Strong show as JP, Karl Fredericks, David Finlay, Jeff Cobb, ACH & Rocky Romero defeated Bullet Club (KENTA, Chase Owens, Jay White, Hikuleo, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa) in an elimination match.

The company also confirmed a new series called NEVER, which will make its debut on NJPW Strong this Friday:
