New Japan Pro-Wrestling has uploaded a recent gem, as the IWGP Heavyweight Championship match between Kazuchika Okada and AJ Styles at Wrestling Dontaku 2014 is now available for free.

Following Styles’ departure from TNA/Impact Wrestling in late 2013, the 42-year-old returned to his roots on the independent scene and surprised many in NJPW by violently attacking Okada at Invasion Attack on April 6. Then the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, the 32-year-old was coming off a grueling tag team match against Bullet Club members Bad Luck Fale and Tama Tonga.

That night, the former WWE Champion revealed himself as the latest member of the popular faction following Prince Devitt (Finn Balor) being kicked out of stable due to signing with the WWE. Not surprisingly, BC would cause chaos and turmoil leading up to the big IWGP Heavyweight title match on May 3.

Dubbed as one of the best matches of the year, both Styles and Okada put on incredible performances that highlighted each man’s strengths. The end result would ultimately see Okada drop the IWGP Heavyweight title due to interference from Yujiro Takahashi. Styles became the first American since Brock Lesnar to capture the prestigious title.
