We have a new Cruiserweight Champion, and he's very popular with the ladies.

Angel Garza defeated Lio Rush in the opening match of this week's episode of NXT after an awesome, very exciting encounter. Both men came close to pinning the other on several occasions, and Rush actually became the first Superstar to kick out of Garza's Angel Wings. However, the Mexican high-flyer quickly transitioned into a submission and forced a tap-out victory.

During the break, Angel invited his girlfriend into the ring to present her with a ring of her own. She said yes, and black and gold brand fans in attendance were treated to a lovely moment.

Garza has been getting very strong crowd reactions so it was only a matter of time before he won gold.
