Dakota Kai Required Staples Following Brutal Table Bump After Her Match With Mia Yim On NXT

Last night on NXT, Mia Yim put Dakota Kai through a table after their match, and it was obvious that the Captain of Team Kick landed badly. Now, we're hearing that Kai needed staples to close the wound.

Dakota Kai used underhanded tactics to defeat Mia Yim last night on NXT, but she paid the price afterwards.

Still seeking revenge for Kai taking her out of the first ever women's War Games match, The HBIC attacked her opponent after the match and delivered a brutal beat-down which culminated with a very dangerous looking table spot.

It looked like Dakota may have over-rotated and caught the back of her head on the second table, and an update from NXT's Twitter account would seem to confirm it. Some fans believe this is part of the storyline, but fan-photos doing the rounds online clearly show that Kai was indeed busted open after the bump, so it's probably on the level.

Let's hope she hasn't suffered a concussion.
