Punishment Martinez made his TV debut on NXT last night as Damian Priest, and defeated a game Raul Mendoza after a devastating whirlwind kick/spinning cutter combo. Expect those moves to have suitably dark names very soon!

Martinez's new persona seems to be a mixture of his Gothic Ring of Honor character and a New York socialite type similar to Adam Rose. We're not expecting him to start coming to the ring with an entourage dressed as rabbits or anything, but there's definitely a hedonistic streak there.

Priest's look and entrance are top notch, so expect to see a lot more of him on NXT in the coming weeks, as the black and gold brand actually knows how to capitalize on popularity.
