Finn Balor Wins Triple-Threat Match To Challenge Adam Cole For The NXT Championship Next Week

Finn Balor took one step closer to making his future his past tonight by becoming the new No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship.

"The Prince" prevailed after an intense Triple-Threat Match which also involved Tommaso Ciampa and Keith Lee. The finish came when the Limitless One hit a devastating powerbomb on the Blackheart only for Balor to land his Coup de Gras on Lee immediately after for the 1,2,3.

Finn will now face Adam Cole (baybay) for the title on next week's show.

This was a little unexpected because Balor was the only heel in the match, and it's rare that you see a bad guy going up against another bad guy for a title. The Irishman is without a doubt the biggest name on the black and gold brand right now, though, so putting the strap on him would make sense.

Do you guys think he'll prevail? Let us know in the comments.
