Imperium Members Take Out Finn Balor On NXT, Seemingly Setting Up A Match With WALTER

Finn Balor returned to NXT to discuss his next move, and was taken out by Imperium members Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner. Is this setting up a future NXT UK Championship match against WALTER perhaps?

It looks like we may know Finn Balor's next opponent, and it's not a Superstar anyone will have expected.

Last night on NXT, The Prince cut a promo discussing what's next for him after defeating Johnny Gargano at TakeOver: Portland. It sounded like he may have been about to challenge Adam Cole for the NXT Championship, but before he could confirm, Imperium's music hit and Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner made their way to the ring on behalf of WALTER. It seems The Ring General has Balor in his sights.

Finn went on the offensive, and was doing a great job of keeping both men down until the numbers game caught up to him and he was taken out with a brutal knee against the steel steps.

This clearly seems to be setting up a match between WALTER and Balor, but we're not sure if it'll take place at TakeOver: Tampa or UK TakeOver: Dublin. Hopefully we'll find out next week.
