Kassius Ohno Tells Fans That He's Leaving NXT - But Is It A Shoot Or A Work?

During last night's episode of NXT, Kassius Ohno interrupted a match to inform the crowd that he was leaving the promotion. Is this an angle, or is the former Chris Hero really bidding farewell to WWE?

Kassius Ohno is done with NXT... or is he?

Last night, the criminally underutilized Superstar cut a promo before a scheduled tag-team match could get underway, telling the NXT Universe that he hates their guts and couldn't wait to leave. Ohno received an elbow from Keith Lee for his troubles, but later on we saw him leaving the arena, suggesting that he was gone for good.

This segment was clearly designed to look like a shoot, but that's obviously highly unlikely. If Kassius was genuinely leaving then we'd almost certainly heard about it by now. The most likely explanation is that this is setting up some kind of angle, but we have no idea what.

Could Ohno debut on the main roster, perhaps? Keep an eye on The Ring Report for updates.
