A tragic incident occurred this past weekend.

It’s been quite the busy weekend for professional wrestling, but the biggest news to come out of it was Raja Jackson assaulting a wrestling on a live stream. This all occurred on Saturday night at KnokX Pro Wrestling where Jackson was set to do a run-in and work a spot against Syko Stu. But Jackson had other plans in mind.

The MMA fighter knocked out Stu cold with a slam, but Jackson doesn’t stop there. He recklessly punched Stu over 15 times, despite the wrestler being unconscious. It was a disgusting and horrifying display over something incredibly small. This appeared to be attempted murder.

Before Jackson went into business for himself, the reason the MMA fighter was so heated at Stu was due to the fact that the wrestler hit him with a beer can earlier in the day. Now Stu thought that he was apart of the show and made the mistake of hitting him with the can.

Immediately, once Stu recognized his mistake he apologized to Jackson. Multiple times. He even added the run in spot so he can get his “receipt” back for the accident. But Stu didn’t know that he would go that far.

Thankfully, Stu is okay. He’s recovering and nothing is life threatening. Sean Ross Sapp talked to Douglas Malo, one of the wrestlers who stopped the alleged assault and said that Stu was awake and talking, but had broken bones in his face and lost “a lot of teeth”.

The Los Angeles Police Department is currently looking into the incident. Thus far, Raja has yet to make any statements about what he did. But KnokX Pro Wrestling did release a lengthy statement on Facebook condemning Jackson’s actions.

“First and foremost our thoughts and prayers are with our brother Mr. Stuart Smith (Syko Stu) as he remains a priority and we are monitoring his well being.

What was supposed to be a planned and agreed upon wrestling spot, turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence against Mr. Smith. This egregious act is reprehensible and never should have occurred.

In the 17 years of operation of KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy, there has never been anything as heinous take place such as this and we apologize to our patrons and fans.”

Raja’s father, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, also released a statement condemning his son’s actions as well.

"Raja is a MMA fighter not a pro wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this," Rampage Jackson said. "I don't condone my son's actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact. As a father, I'm deeply concerned with his health AND the well being of Mr. Smith. That being said I'm very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery. I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation."

The interesting part of this situation is that WWE is also involved. KnokX Pro Wrestling is apart of WWE’s ID program and fans are demanding that the company remove them it. WWE has yet to respond to the situation.

A video actually surfaced earlier of one of the wrestlers telling Jackson that he can give Stu his “receipt”, basically encouraging the MMA fighter to cross the line despite Stu apologizing and allowing the run-in. At this moment, we’ll just have to wait and see how this situation turns out, but it’s truly a disgusting one.
