Tonight on NXT, we learned that the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will return in 2020.

No exact date was set, but Mauro Ranallo revealed that the participating tag teams will be announced during the New Year’s Day edition of NXT on USA Network.

The tournament was established back in 2015 as a tribute to late WWE Hall of Famer "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, who was involved in a behind-the-scenes capacity in the WWE Performance Center for many years.

Past tournament winners include: Finn Balor and Samoa Joe, The Authors of Pain, Undisputed Era, and most recently, Aleister Black and Ricochet.
