Here is a breakdown of the results from tonight's episode of NXT for May 9, 2018:

— Ricochet cut a promo about how he wants the spotlight to be on him and he has his eyes set on the NXT Championship. The Velveteen Dream interrupted to take issue with this. Anything Ricochet can do, The Velveteen Dream can do better. They almost came to blows, but TVD left instead.

— EC3 defeated Raul Mendoza by pinfall. After the match, he cut a promo to Cathy Kelley about how he's going to have nothing but victories going forward.

— In footage from last week, Pete Dunne agrees with Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan that he's a piece of garbage, oddly enough, but he also agrees to work with them against The Undisputed Era as they have a common enemy.

— Dakota Kai defeated Vanessa Borne by pinfall. After the match, Shayna Baszler came out to intimidate Kai and make a statement by beating down Borne while Kai remained cowering in fear in the corner. This was followed up even more with a backstage segment where Baszler asks Kai to kick her and do something about it, but she doesn't. Then, Nikki Cross is seen watching the whole confrontation, laughing.

— War Raiders defeated Heavy Machinery by pinfall.

— A video airs of the The Street Profits saying they want the NXT Tag Team Championship and are going to get them by any means necessary.

— Tommaso Ciampa defeated Kassius Ohno by pinfall.

Based on the tapings, spoilers, advertisements and notes from tonight's episode, next week's edition of NXT is set to feature the following segments, as well as possibly more:

- The Undisputed Era vs. Pete Dunne, Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan
