In December, we reported on a rumor that Dakota Kai may have suffered a mishap during a live event in Green Bay, WI and possibly tore her ACL. Now, the popular NXT Supertar has confirmed that this is indeed the case, and she will require surgery to repair the damage.

Kai has emerged as one of the most dependable female Superstars on the NXT roster and looked set for a decent push, so this is obviously a massive shame. We're not sure how long she'll be on the shelf for, but with this type of injury it's usually at least six months.

Wishing Dakota all the best and a speedy recovery.
