Tonight's installment of NXT was an emotional one for fans of Shinsuke Nakamura, as Full Sail's resident King of Strong Style said farewell to his former home in preparation for his main roster call-up to Smackdown Live.

A suited and booted Nakamura came out to the ring and proclaimed his love for the NXT Universe's passion, telling those in attendance that he has learned a lot from them since debuting on the yellow brand a year ago. He finished up by stating that he will always be NXT, giving us one final "YeaOh", and making his way up the ramp where he was greeted by William Regal and his colleagues from the locker room, including his good friend Finn Balor.

Though we can all look forward to Nakamura's exploits on Smackdown Live going forward, it's safe to say NXT just won't be the same without him.

To echo the chants heard all around the arena as he said his goodbyes, thank you, Shinsuke.
