It looks like former Ring of Honor Television Champion Punishment Martinez will be competing in NXT under a different name, but unlike the poor War Raiders being saddled with "The Viking Experience" on Raw last night, his new moniker is actually pretty cool.

During an interview with the Sports Business Journal, Martinez revealed that he will now be known as Damien Priest, and it sounds like fans can expect his new persona to be even darker than the one we're used to seeing in ROH (which was pretty damn dark as it was).

Martinez says the plan is for him to debut a series of new outfits and entrance music to match his new character. “I’ve always been into the weird, the odd, the dark, so that’s the character I’ve always represented,” he added.

What do you guys think of the name change? Hopefully Damien Priest will debut in NXT TV soon.
