Despite recent reports stating that Impact Wrestling wasn’t releasing talent at the moment, it appears that the rule didn’t apply to Gursinder Singh as he’s been granted his release.

One month ago, the former Desi Hit Squad member went to social media and revealed that he requested his release from the promotion. The former Impact talent was essentially an enhancement wrestler stuck in a stereotypical gimmick since he made his debut in the company in 2017. Singh confirmed his release from Impact through his social media account:

“Announcing to the world that I have officially been granted my release from Impact Wrestling. Looking forward to the future!”

There’s no word on what the future lies for Singh in professional wrestling, but the former Impact star shouldn’t have too much of a problem finding work due to the wealth of opportunities in wrestling these days.
