It appears that Jim Mitchell’s tenure with Impact Wrestling could end soon.

According to PWInsider, Impact officials are currently writing the manager out of storylines going forward. There’s no word on whether Impact plans on killing off Mitchell’s character – like Allie – or simply write him off television for a while.

Mitchell has been with the promotion since beginning in 2002, with the personality first managing Slash and Brian Lee of The Disciples of The New Church. Once the faction separated, the 54-year-old would eventually align himself with Abyss and the two would remain together until 2008.

Mitchell made his full time return in 2017 reuniting with Abyss sporadically. The Florida native became a regular with the Rosemary and Su Yung storyline since last year. Mitchell is manipulating Susie and Havok against the former Knockouts Champion.
