Matt and Jeff will return to Game Changer Wrestling!

The Hardys are walking on cloud nine at the moment since they beat The Rascalz” Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz, “First Class” AJ Francis and KC Navarro, and Ryan and Nic Nemeth in a four-way ladder match for the TNA Tag Team Titles. Instantly after they won the brutal match, GCW confirmed their return for the August 1st event in Rutherford, New Jersey. Thus far, their opponents have yet to be announced.

Now the Hardys have been working with 4th Rope promotion for quite some time. In fact, Matt and Jeff Hardy are currently the 4th Rope Tag Team Champions. The TNA duo originally won the belts back in December by beating The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean) and Violence Is Forever (Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku) in a three way ladder match. So far, they’ve successfully defended their titles against The New Guys (Jake Bosche & Scott Stanley) and TNT (Terrell Hughes & Terrence Hughes).

If the 4th Rope Promotion sounds familiar then that’s because Real1 (former WWE star Enzo Amore) Zilla Fatu, and Josh Bishop represented the promotion this past Sunday at Slammiversary. They got a win over current International Champion Steve Maclin, Jake Something, and Mance Warner. Currently, Read1 is the 4th Rope Flyweight Champion. The former WWE star isn’t scheduled for the upcoming show just yet.

However, the Hit ‘Em Up pay-per-view does have Drew Parker & Emersyn Jayne vs. The Rejects, Mance Warner vs. Bear Bronson, and Steve Maclin vs. 1 Called Manders.

The show did have Deonna Purrazzo vs. Elayna Black scheduled, but the latter just revealed that she’ll be taking a break from professional wrestling for the time being.

We wish Black all the best and hopefully she’ll return to the business as she’s a genuinely talented upstart. At the moment, there hasn’t been any replacement for the former WWE star. We’ll update the card once GCW confirms if someone will replace Black. It's also possible that Black will continue forward with this match, but the former NXT star didn't state that she would be doing any final shows.
