Earlier today, Impact Wrestling surprisingly let go of Scarlett Bordeaux, who reportedly requested her release due to being unhappy with her financial situation with the company. Bordeaux’s real-life boyfriend Killer Kross also requested his release from the company; however, it appears as if he won’t be leaving the promotion.

While it was reported a while back that Impact had no plans on releasing one of their top stars, it was also believed that management wasn’t planning on granting Bordeaux’s release as well, though her deal with the promotion was set to end sometime in the summer anyways.

PWInsider‘s Mike Johnson is reporting that multiple people within the company have told him that Kross will not be granted his release and will continue to work for Impact Wrestling. He also reports that higher-ups within Impact are unhappy with Kross for airing his grievances over the situation in public. Kross explained why he chose to ask for his release, highlighting the financial situation as the main motivation.

Impact is also unhappy with Petey Williams, a producer for the promotion, for allowing Kross to come onto his podcast to speak on the private manner.
