Two big matches have been confirmed for Rebellion.

On Sunday, April 27th, TNA Wrestling will hold their annual Rebellion pay-per-view. First, Moose will defend his X-Division Championship in an Ultimate X match.

Moose has successfully defended his title thirteen times, beating Jeff Hardy, Lexis King, Ace Austin, KUSHIDA, and Laredo Kid. The 40-year-old has managed to keep the belt for more than 155 days, but trouble has been brewing with him and The System. Moose couldn’t beat Oba Femi at NXT Roadblock. In fact, most of the faction is coming off major losses. The frustration in the group stems from numerous losses everyone has taken.

This will be the first time that Moose defends his X-Division title in an Ultimate X match. Thus far, the participants for the match have yet to be confirmed. Moose isn’t the only man defending his title at Rebellion.

The Hardys are looking for revenge. At Sacrifice, Nic Nemeth turned on his very own tag team partner before their big steel cage match.

The former TNA World Champion explained that he felt The Hardys were driving to drive a wedge between him and his brother Ryan. Now, Nic and Ryan have a chance to take away something big from Matt and Jeff as they’ll challenge them for the TNA World Tag Team titles.

The Hardys have been champions for 150 plus days so far, beating The System, Fraxiom, and The Rascalz to retain those belts. But Nic is also a former WWE Tag Team Champion. He’s actually won the belt four times! Ryan is also a former two-time OVW Southern Tag Team Champion. Though the Nemeth Brothers have never won the titles together, they have been very successful working as a pair since joining TNA.

This match isn't just about titles. It’s about retribution for both teams. Who will emerge as the TNA World Tag Team Champions? We’ll find out on April 27th!
