During Thursday's WWE investor conference call, Vince McMahon indicated that the company had been in talks with major streaming outlets regarding moving some content from the WWE Network to other over the top platforms. Since then, speculation has run rampant about plans for this year's WrestleMania as WWE looks to cash in on the big money being paid for the rights to major sporting events.

According to Sporting News writer Steve Muehlhausen, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has expressed interest in purchasing WWE streaming rights for future events which could end up being a game-changer.

Now, it's worth noting that Dave Meltzer has said the opposite and claims CAA (the talent agency that represents WWE) actually went to WWE with the offer. Another rumoured platform said to be interested in the sports entertainment giant is NBCUniversal's planned Peacock Network.

This could end up increasing WWE's profit margins but hurting the WWE Network in the long run so we'll be sure to keep you guys updated.
