Tonight on SmackDown LIVE, it was AJ Styles' turn to cost his team a match against The Usos when he inadvertently(?) hit partner Daniel Bryan with the Pele Kick, leading to a Samoan Splash and the pin.

Afterwards, the two Superstars traded words backstage, and it's clear that Bryan didn't believe that AJ's strike was accidental.

Honestly, this type of angle has been done to death. WWE really needs to be a bit more creative when it comes to sowing dissent among future opponents are are on good terms and "respect" each other.

At any rate, Bryan will challenge The Phenomenal One for the WWE Championship at Crown Jewel... providing the event goes ahead!
