As we told you a couple of weeks ago, there have been some in WWE who have started pushing for unhappy talent to be granted their releases from the company. In the past, WWE didn't think twice about wishing talent all the best in their future endeavours but the rise of All Elite Wrestling has changed things.

Well, it's now said that the reason the likes of Sin Cara, Luke Harper, and The Ascension were released over the weekend is because they're not viewed as wrestlers who will make a difference if they are signed by AEW. It's easy to see why WWE would feel that way, especially as the four Superstars have been poorly booked by them for a long time now.

Honestly, the only one here who is likely to make a significant impact on All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite each week is Harper but not many fans will tune into that show just to see the former Bludgeon Brother in action.

It's also thought that WWE is looking to save some money so they can then pay more important talent larger sums of money in order to ensure they stick around.
