Bully Ray Says That Nothing WWE Does To Counter All Elite Wrestling Is Personal, It's Just Business

Much has been made of WWE's decision to move NXT to Wednesday nights on the USA Network ahead of AEW's TNT debut but Bully Ray has now shared his thoughts on why none of what they're doing is personal.

Former WWE Superstar Bully Ray is the latest wrestler to weigh in on the apparent war between WWE and AEW. With NXT set to go head to head with the new launched company's weekly show on TNT, it appears as if the Wednesday Night Wars will be kicking off very soon.

In Ray's opinion, all the moves WWE is making aren't personal; it's business.

"This has nothing to do with a personal vendetta, this has to do with business. You cannot just allow a wrestling universe. Whether it’s your wrestling universe or every other person in the wrestling universe, to just watch a brand new product unopposed. It’s ignorant, it’s foolish, it’s dumb business. Everything that WWE is doing right now to counter AEW is not personal at all."

"The business end of this is not personal,"
he continued. "Trust me when I tell you this, Vince doesn’t look at things personally because if Vince looked at things personally, Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman would not be his two right-hand men right now."

It's a fair point and, honestly, you can't blame WWE for marking its turf and making sure that they remain the #1 wrestling company on the planet.
