Mustafa Ali officially became a member of the SmackDown LIVE roster last night, and he made quite the splash during his tag-match against Daniel Bryan and Andrade "Cien" Almas... literally.

Ali hit his patented reverse 450 splash (The 054... geddit?) to pin the WWE Champion and win the match for his team, but he mistimed his landing and seemed to come crashing down on Bryan's neck or upper chest.

It was a nasty visual, but evidently it looked worse than it was because Daniel is not believed to be badly hurt.

According to backstage reports, Bryan was "fine" after the match and even recorded another segment for the Christmas Day episode of SmackDown which was taped last night. Good news, but Ali may want to give some serious thought to choosing another move for his his finisher!
